2011!!

It's been awhile my friends!
The holidays have long since past and we're fully entrenched in the new year. This means it's time to look ahead with a fervorous focus at things to come and how to make them happen.
That being said, I'd like to take this opportunity to list of a few exciting possibilities I have my sights on for 2011.

As I've mentioned in tweets and as a side note in other posts, there is a television show in the works. Yep, a vehicle by which the Alexander James spectacle will be traveling the globe in search of traditional music and artists with their techniques to be used in an exciting new way. But you'll have to tune in to find out how! We're bringing the music from the people, to the people, by the people, people!

Also, Troubadour Records Inc. may have a new glamorous studio/house home in it's future. But I don't want to talk too much about that in case doing so jinxes any further progress on it. So for now just know that there is an amazing property out there where anyone needing to record a serious project could do so, audio, video, post, etc., etc.

Now, on to the last order of business which is all about two wheels, an engine, and a lot of hard work, and has nothing to do with music!
My friend Jesse and I have taken up a new endeavor of restoring a half-finished chopper motorcycle. It came to us in a sad state of affairs but brimming with possibilities!
At the moment we're about a quarter of the way there, with everything torn apart and in the process of being cleaned, fixed, or replaced. I'm guestimating that come summer we'll have a seriously amazing bike on our hands!
Here's a "before" picture to give you a better idea of where it's coming from.
Well, that's all for now, but we'll be chatting soon.
Many thanks and a very happy and prosperous new year to you!
~me.
