I went looking for the name of a panel I attended at South by Southwest a few weeks ago and found that at the top of the page of the information page of the panel I was looking for was a little audio player. Sure as $#!t they had taped the entire panel and posted it to the site!
Well, I revise my previous post to make note that if you're looking for INFORMATION ONLY, maybe you could get away with not going at all and waiting for the audio of the panels to be posted online.
If you're serious about the industry though I DON'T recommend this! It's too important to meet these people in person than to listen to a streaming audio feed and then try to contact them cold-turkey.
Anyway, If you want to hear my question click the link below and fast forward to about an inch before the end. It's about hiring musicians in other countries. You can't hear me very well (or at all for that matter since I'm so damn soft-spoken), but the answers to my question are insightful.
Enjoy!

Also, if you want to learn what I and a lot of other songwriters have taken years and truckloads of money to learn about songwriting, listen to Mr. Ralph Murphy's SXSW "Murphy's Laws of Songwriting" panel...

PS - The "Media" mp3 play may not load correctly in Internet Explorer (Exploder). Safari and Google Chrome seem to work fine.
