Puppies and Show, but not a Puppy Show

I'm happy to report that the puppies are doing very well! I've been spending copious amounts of time with them, ultimately coming away reeking of stinky puppy. This is even after their baths night before last!

In other news, a very dear friend of mine asked me to perform at the Warehouse Live here in downtown Houston for his birthday party this Saturday! I'm very sincere when I say how much of an honor it is that he asked me! I talked with him today about some of the details and it seems he and other friends of his are each going to perform 20 to 30 minute sets. It'll be interesting to see if I can rise to the occasion and fill that kind of time without covers. Also, with the puppy mania going on around here I'd be lying if I said I've been writing my asunder off. However, things are picking back up and some good solid writing was accomplished today thankfully. Hopefully I'll be able to unveil the new tune this Saturday!

Anyway, it's feeding time at the corral and then it's my time to feed as well.
